ABOUT

My career is anything but linear.

And that's the point. I started as an academic in entrepreneurship and family business leadership, and quickly realised I needed to keep a foot firmly in the business world.

BACKGROUND

My work bridges the gap between academic research and practical leadership — testing concepts through research and teaching and bringing evidence-based approaches to handle real-world problems. Working with leaders brings new insights that provide the fuel for teaching and further research.

I've worked with Fortune 500 and FTSE 100 companies, academic institutions, governmental agencies, NGOs, family offices, and entrepreneurial start-ups. I've founded two businesses myself. While every organisation has its distinct culture, there are leadership elements that are essential to creating strong and robust teams — and a culture prepared for innovation, growth, and high performance.

GLOBAL Experience

I have worked across five continents in diverse cultural and institutional concepts, I know what it means to have your finger on the pulse of the local culture. My international experience spans Bangladesh, Belgium, Brazil, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Greece, India, Italy, Kenya, Kuwait, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Pakistan, Portugal, Serbia, South Africa, Switzerland, the UAE, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

This global exposure enables me to shape core thinking to different contexts, while also sharing different perspectives with leaders to strengthen their toolkits.

Thought Leadership

Alongside my advisory work, I have spent more than two decades contributing to leadership education and research. I serve as Adjunct Faculty at London Business School, Hult Ashridge, and HEC Paris, regularly working with executive audiences across Europe and the Middle East.

I am the author of several leadership books, a regular contributor to Forbes, and a keynote speaker on leadership, innovation, complexity, and the future of work.
