Collaborative ways of working

Over the last decade, I have worked with leaders and executive leadership teams to create innovative and effective cultures. Using an evidence-based, and user-centered approach, I work with clients to identify pain points and collaborate to create new approaches to solving problems.

I build up long-term relationships with clients, co-creating and collaborating as part of the journey to achieve behavioural change, helping leaders and teams to transform and strengthen their workplace cultures.

What are the big questions I can help you answer?

  • How do we create inclusion at the heart of our company?
  • How do we get everyone to share the D&I load?
  • How can I feel more comfortable asking difficult questions about inequality at work?
  • How do we measure success?
  • How do we harness diversity for effective innovation?

NHS

Shaheena has been working with our diversity and inclusion Partners and Alumni programme across the NHS in recent years and delivered a series of workshops and masterclasses around the subjects of leadership, accountability and equity.

Her unique blend of industry experience combined with her academic credentials have given equality, diversity and inclusion leaders across the NHS a refreshing and innovative perspective on how to leverage and influence change.
Her warm, compassionate – but professional – approach has resonated well with our colleagues and helped to increase both their confidence and their competence in tackling some extremely difficult and sensitive issues within their organisations.

EIT Food

Shaheena helped EIT Food’s Business Creation team to explore how we evolve our programmes to support a diverse community of entrepreneurs and be more inclusive; working closely with key stakeholders she provided a critical review of our current approach to D&I and areas for improvement, and a roadmap with practical guidelines to implement the recommendations.

Shaheena took the time to understand our specific challenges and therefore was able to make recommendations that were highly relevant and practical to implement. Her enthusiasm for the topic and her people-centric approach really helped to engage the team and win their support.
